2011 Santa Barbara Concourse d' Elegance

The 2011 Santa Barbara Concourse d' Elegance was held October 29th and 30th on the verdant Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club grounds near Montecito. Similar to that held in Pebble Beach annually, this avant garde event captures the sophisticated luxury, distinctive grandeur, and grace and refinement that is Santa Barbara. From the 19th century Mercedes precursor of the modern automobile, through some of the grand automotive creations of the 20th century, to powerful, hand built examples of mechanical perfection crafted in the 21st, the vehicles competing in this event far surpass the mundane fair of a typical "car show." Attendees are able to stroll the polo grounds, meander among the classic creations, and sample the fruits of the Santa Barbara vintners' art. The spender of this bacchanal gala graces the casual conviviality of the California Riviera.
