  • hey wat is d best upgrades for this an grt8 video

  • @5startrim1 i would say exhaust system, jet kit, airfilter, shocks, and anything that revolves around looks(bumper, shock covers, graphic kits..ect) these are definetly the best upgrades to get you started with this machine. note there are no jet kits available yet for it so maybe just go with a separate main and pilot jet for the time being.

  • hey man im looking for a yfz and im wondering if i should get a 450r or a regular. At my house i do a lot of jumping and racing. But were we go camping i would be doing more style of trail or just cruising around. What would be better?

  • @kawasaki22db the bottom line...

regular= more power, cheaper (extra cash for the upgrades),lighter(yes its a steel frame and the R is aluminum), good for the trails(for a 450), better responsivenes, overall great universal machine either for riding around or racing.

YFZR= more comfort, slightly better handling, efi, looks, aluminum frame(even though its heavier than the regular).

remember with just some upgrades to the regular your gonna have a serious race machine.

  • You sound like jay baruchel... Seriously... The guy from fan boys... Jus saying

  • @XxEPICEVERYTHINGxX il take that as a compliment hahaha lol.

  • @pdylan1234 Um are you deaf?? I said in the first 10 or 15 seconds that this is my 2012 Yamaha YFZ450 CARBURATED VERISON. And for your information the 2012 Yamaha YFZ450 carb verison puts out more power than the 2010. So i think your the stupid one leaving comments when you dont even know what you are talking about.

  • @Gabochavez4 hmmm i would go new personally the new ones put out more power and theres no worries about something breaking. i was in the same position as you but i decided to spend the extra bucks and get it new. u never know what can be wrong with it.

  • @kawasaki22db the piggyback shocks. so basicaly if you buy the regular having the extra power over the R will eliminate having to upgrade the peformance and have the extra cash to buy a nice set of shocks for the regular, so there you go now u have a machine with more power and way better suspension. The advantage of the R is basicaly the comfort due to the seat and urganomics of the bike, and dont forget the efi.... wich i personally find the carb to be more responsive.

  • @kawasaki22db well wat i can say is personally i would go with the regular but that is just me because thats kinda wat i do jump around and just race around with friends and during the summer do trail riding up at my summer home. The reason y i say this is because wen u think about it ur spending 1500 less for something with more power. the r might be a bit more comfortable due to the seat, and the way you sit but the shocks from wat i heard are not that great on the R wich are...

  • @rushton123 the best would prolly be the the honda trx250 because its got a sport clutch that allows for u not to use it or to use it so you can really learn and not stall it. then wen ur ready for some power put a slip on pipe and a jet kit and remove the filter lid to really open it up. this yfz is a good quad for somebody that has riding experience and wants something fast.or wants to save a couple thousand and go straight for the race upgrades.

  • @rushton123 thanks but i really would not recomend it to somebody learning. because this putts out more power than the race ready yfz450r and eccelerates quicker than my friends havily modified trx450. just because its cheaper doesnt mean its a learning bike dont forget its still got the same motor that dominated gncc racing. and the clutch is gonna be a nightmare for her to get the hand of. this thing is very very powerfull. i would recomend something like a 125 or honda trx250.

  • @Flyersfan853 that i really never got to experience but the ltr's are for some reason long gone and the kfx is good because of the reverse and woods riding experience. if i were you i would go with this one because its basically universal u can trail ride or have the extra $1500 in ur pocket to start turning this thing into a race machine.
