WQAM gave away 120 free trips to Jacksonville, to see and hear the Beatles in concert. The winners boarded a National Airlines jet at Miami International Airport. Although we don't get any close-up shots of the Beatles on stage, you still get a feel of what's going on (and brief audio from the stage).
Afterwards, WQAM d.j.'s Lee Sherwood and Charlie Murdock visited the Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan, and got a preview of the new 1965 Ford Mustang. While there they spent time with Gene Weed (former WQAM disc jockey) and Wink Martindale of KFWB Radio, and Ron Martin of WHB.
