  • Its about picking your battles & teaching them how to cope, its not an easy road but worthwhile. My boys are beginning to learn empathy which is amazing & am lucky they go to a specialist ASD school for high IQ kids, had a long fight to get it but worth it to see them thrive & be happy. I cherish the little things they do that bring us joy. I dont want to cure my boys just wish more people understood & accepted them. ASD didnt ruin my life it changed it & met some fab friends with ASD too!

  • a beautiful story, I have 2 boys with Aspergers/HFA age 14 and 17 diagnosed at 7 and 9yrs. I like to think of it as a "difference" rather than a "disorder". Who says their way is wrong? ASD is just a different view of the world. My boys have become fine young men & am proud of them, with the right support and understanding they have the potential to lead normal fulfilling adult lives. They still have their ways & things that make them anxious but we are all unique & special in our own way.

  • someday the enthusiasm for something will get him somewhere amazing,

i know this because i have enthusiasm for sailing, all my coaches mention how enthusiastic i am and i am hoping to go to the 2016 or 2020 olympics for sailing,

as i always say, if you believe, you can achieve!

  • Boy just watch this video again and it still brings tears to my eyes!

  • Jamin has alot of family who support for autism & alot of friends at school who don't make for of him. Please don't make fun of people with disabilities. I am 16 years old girl with hemiplegia cerebral palsy.

  • he is so cute

  • Your precious son's story mirrors the story of our own son (almost 11) in so many ways.

Our son was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome in 2005. Since then there have been many challenges but there have also been many triumphs. I thank God for early intervention...for bringing the right people into our lives at the right time.

Thank you again for your great video. I plan to share it with famiy and friends.

    God bless your beautiful family!

  • A truly beautiful video. It shows that there is loving parents out there that take time to care for there children that need them.
