Last year I released a video explaining how to wirelessly tether your camera to an iPad by jailbreaking the iPad.
Since then Eye-Fi has released a firmware update that makes wireless tethering possible without the need for jailbreaking.

Dude... you just made my day!!
I spend hours searching for a new iPad2 with older ios4 so that I can jailbreak, after I found out that the iPad2 new ships with ios5 which is not untethered jailbreakable.
This new direct mode on the Eye-Fi card is just great.

I have a canon 40D.will this work with my camera or do I need a cf adapter?.I have the connection kit why won't the developers just make a app so that u can shoot directly to the iPad via the USB connector kit .

@leo140485 Not on the iPad (you can wirelessly tether it to Lightroom or Aperture though)
