Part 2 - "It's all about Zappa"
On May 4, 2006, The Real Change News published an interview with Artis the Spoonman by Ken Strong entitled, "Spoon-taneity The Spoonman Speaketh"
This is the first part of a video interview series with Artis in his new flat over looking the Port Townsend Bay that will be using the 2002 story as a loose script.
"He's a familiar figure to many in Seattle, especially those who frequent the Pike Place Market: the muscular, middle-aged man with the mohawk, standing on the sidewalk, usually accompanying singer/songwriter/guitarist Jim Page, with his huge array of spoons of different shapes and sizes and materials spread out on a blanket, furiously playing against his face and body, eyes closed, lost in the performance. " (This is what we used to talk about in Part 1)

Appearances dont matter for this guy. if he ever sees this comment then hope he knows he is one of the greatest artists in the world. Creativity of playing spoons blew my mind. I mean ya can see other things used as instruments but they never change the way/the technique they use to play it... and to do that with spoons is something which no other man on earth can successfully do the way which Artis did it. he is a genius on many levels
