As President Obama begins sending 30,000-35,000 additional troops to fight the war in Afghanistan, some New Yorkers say they are skeptical about the troop build-up. (Dec. 2)

My kid doesn't really want to die in a war or even kill other people but he quit his job at walmart and joined the marines so that he could start a family and offer them (his family) some stability. He hopes and trusts, as i do, that the military will act professionally in Afghanistan and will do everything possible to mitigate damage on both sides. Thanks for reading.

There is NOTHING constitutional about going to WAR. The U.S constitution was designed to PREVENT wars, not to begin/prolong them.

Our troops must completely stupid, brainwashed, or have played way too many video games, so they can play that fantasy out.

You know I was already been thinking if I should or should not explain in more detail according to the Skarf? Yes I can see she's the only woman bene interviewed! People must whine about it very soon. And no I am not a New Yorker, I love NY big time. I think New York has one of the most decent and social people in the entire U.S. Been participating with some this is the outcome: A country of city doesn't say anything about one single person.

Why aren't ppl seeing the bigger picture here. everyone's so quick to judge. theres obviously something we're not hearing, he has his reasons for sending more troops. the gov't wont say all.. maybe were getting threatened idk. i heard some where the troops we have now there. more are getting killed now than in the actual war.... dont hate on me. im just saying..
