Jane's mother used to teach at Columbia before the name change. The school has a Jane Froman chorus which you can find on Youtube.

Jane Froman's beautiful voice and her story where an inspiration to me when I first started to study voice as a boy. I had no idea that photo material existed of her, as I have seen here. Thank you for putting this collection together. Yes, I would rather hear her singing than anyone else, but this collection is wonderful. She continues to inspire, even now. A beautiful woman,a beautiful voice, a beautiful soul. Thank you again.

I love the movie starring Susan Hayward, and I knew that the singing was done by the real Jane Froman. I just had no idea how pretty the real Jane Froman was, I really enjoyed the beautiful photos. Thanks :D

Next reaction?: The images are beautiful; a vocal tribute by Sinatra is appropriate - and, I think, would have been a sincere tribute (from Sinatra himself).
