Setting up Pianist Pro (iPad) to control Finale (laptop)

It took me hours to figure out how to get my iPad to wirelessly control Finale, even though it's supposed to be easy and intuitive. So I decided to show you, in this eight minute video, how to do it. Let me know if this works for you.

Thanks for the great video tutorial. PianistPro offers other MIDI control methods (DSMI, MIDI Mobilizer) that are easier to set up - although PureData is our personal favorite for latency & performance. Also, coming in V1.8 soon will be a Network MIDI option, which will connect directly to the Mac's MIDI Network driver and avoid the need for PureData. It's also amazingly fast (less than 3ms). First of all, congratulations and thanks for all your effort! I would like to know how it works in Finale 2011. It doesn't have that menu. Althought, I think that the main problem is that I use PC instead of Mac. Could you help me?

I used this video to connect Pianist Pro with Reason on Windows XP and it worked LIKE A CHARM.

Gotta admit that even with the excellent video n' all it took me something like 1 hr to have everything working.

I really wish moocow would work on more tutorials and such.

This is why I like to use a pencil and paper. Using Finale is a pain in the a** enough as it is.
