It doesn't look like a cross! It just looks like flares. People read too much into stuff. See things for what they are, not what you wish they were. Nascarlover= Nerd. And it's not about the enemy not noticing you. Anyone who knows anything knows that. Redsniper=nerd number 2. Try not noticing a C-130! And it IS done at night on landings in Baghdad! Some experienced sniper you aren't!

@dawnofwar92 Actually it is an MC-130 Combat Talon. The magnesium flares were counter measures against a heat seeking/tracking missle. The flares are much hotter than the engine exhaust. Many years ago I was a Crew Chief with the 7th SOS, Rhein Main AB, W. Germany. We called the smoke pattern "Our Guardian Angle".
