  • I think it was the late eighties, 4472 was hauling the scarborough spa express.

    This was the first one of the day, the second run did not happen because the tender derailed when the engine was running round at york thus being pulled by two class 20's

  • York station changed a lot from the 80s to when I visited it in 06 and 08.

  • could'nt have been much later than aug 88 cause she arrived here in Australia in october that year.

  • I think it might of been ether 1987 or 1988 before the middle two lines were removed for eletricfication. and i have noticed that theres a different bing bong tune on the PA compared to what it was a few years ago
