Used to watch this stuff every I think Saturday morning 9, 10, 11 yrs old. I can't watch the new stuff at all. Thinking back couldn't remember what was so great about it. Watching these videos reminds me that it was high drama. These guys told a story with almost no words. It was big art on a big canvas.
Where did you get the information about Tony Garea was wrestling in Florida in the late 1960`s ? He did not wrestled in Florida in the late 60s, he was wrestling in New Zealand at that time when he was very young. It was 1972 that Tony went to Florida for the very 1st time to wrestled there.
Back then the fans sure went crazy over nothing!
