Here are a few marvelous laps in Ray Hofman's "new" Matech Concepts FIA GT1 Ford GT Prototype at the recent Ford GT Rally V at Virginia International Raceway. Team principal Martin Bartek, Team Driver and Operations Chief Thomas Mutsch and other team members traveled from Matech's base near the Nurburgring to deliver and train Hofman in ths extraordinary car.

German ace Thomas Mutsch is driving VIR for the first time ever in the pouring down rain. New owner Hofman is in the passenger seat for this e-ticket ride. Mutsch's supreme confidence and skill is displayed particularly well when the car begins to aquaplane crossing standing water at the exit of Hog Pen Corner on the last hot lap in the video. He never even lets up on the throttle!
