  • My famous nectar of happiness is almost ready for us all to try! LOL

  • Do people realize that the original Shiny Happy People song is not actually a happy feelgood song, even though many, myself included, thought so?

"Shiny Happy People" is actually a badly translated slogan from some Chinese propaganda poster, showing how "happy" and "shiny" the people are in communist China.

So they made a song to satirize this kind of government publication, with nauseatingly positive and sweet sounding rhetoric which is actually implying the opposite.

  • Wow. I watched this when I was a kid. I LOVED this. :D

  • I'm feeling a bit bipolar right now.

  • Its funny, because this song was actually about communism, and now its on children's programming. ha.

  • I seriously thought her hair was going to smack the crap out of the lead during that jumping.
