General Hospital 1983 - Stavros Attacks Luke and Laura part 2

Luke breaks free and knocks Stavros out with the top of a bed post. Luke & Laura make a run for it but Stavros stops them when they get to the door. Stavros, still half conscious from the blow to the head, stumbles forward and falls down the stairs breaking his neck on the way down. Later, Luke and Laura meet Robert at GH and receive a message that Stavros wants to see Laura. After seeing Laura and putting another curse on the Spencers, Stavros finally dies.

This was intense, especially for an early 80's scene in a daytime serial!  A guy breaking into someone's house and trying to rape their wife right in front of them? Pretty sick stuff.

I sometimes wonder if the idea of Stavros and Laura having a kid wasn't there when they filmed this. Especially right before Stavros falls and he says "Laura and I have some unfinished business to attend to."

I would love to see John Martinuzzi come back as Stavros Cassadine. The Cassadines are making a comeback after all and technically no one is really dead in soap operas. LoL. Now would be the perfect time. LoL.

@Matuatay2 I dunno, if the writers at the time had even thought of it, they would have had Stavros mention it. I mean, him taunting Luke with the fact that Stavros and Laura had a child, while she and Luke did not? That would fcuked with Luke's mind so much...

The whole phone sentence by Luke is sooo stupid. Like there would be just a dead phone in the bedroom & not throughout the whole house....

from 1983 stavros and luke were fighting kind of like Scarface movie and it also reminded me of Dick Tracy.
