Single AQ 10" on AQ3500D

My other AQ HDC3 is being reconed so I currently am running just one. Pretty damn loud for 1 10" sub.

The hole for the other sub has been sealed as you can see so this 1 10" is running in the 3.12 cubic foot box.

@SWXranger1007 I sold both my HDC3s and my 3500D. Mine sounded great. Planning on buying more one day. Currently have 2 sundown SA-8s on an AQ1200d. I wouldn't buy Fi personally unless it was a crazy deal. But thats just me.

@popwarhomie yeah 3.1 cu/ft for one 10 that only requires like 1.25-2 max.. that is a lotta space.. well! hope your recone goes well man! im looking forward to hearing it. ALSO!! do your 10's have that "hollow" sound to them? im looking at upgrading to to 12" Fi fullyloaded btl's those sound so deeeep and rich honestly. but idk. i think i might just have a bad AQ.. for 850 bucks for two 12's shipped is pretty bad. id rather not :) id rather pickup some more AQ's .. especially FTW!

Like I said before. I had 2 HDC3 10"s in that box. I ripped the spiders on one and sealed up the hole and ran just 1 for a few weeks. So that single HDC3 is in a 3 cube box. I never metered my 2 but I would say they could do a 147 easy. Yes thor did a 150 on 2 A coil 10"s and 14k but thats a trunked car.Everyone knows trucked cars arnt as loud as the same setup in a truck or SUV. I have a regular cab truck. Those AQs sounded very good.

@SeanFarley25 hes up in the 40's.. but i highly doubt 150.. thorshammer got to 150.2 with two 10 hdc3a's and he was pushin them to the MAX with a stetsom 14k.. thats 14000 watts to them.. i HIGHLY doubt that thatsetup did a 150.. im sorry. id like to believe because the AQ subwoofers imo are best bang for your buck.. maybe with 3 a normal everyday guy could get to 150s.. i say thorshammer cuz he KNOWS exactly what to do.. look him up. you will know what i mean!

@mike212916 i agree AQ's thump hard.. but they dont have that deep rich bass you would expect.. more of a "hollow sound" i agree if that ten was in a slightly better box it sound betr.4 r's 147if you throw them in a better box it will get lots louder especially with the new model typer's. but that hdc3 sounds like its clippin a bit? idk though could be the vid. i love hdc3's though you gotta have em in just the right box for them to sound just right. otherwise they're hollow sounding
