@superbetty84 Oh no he ain't. He's an idiot who overshot the centreline way too close to the runway threshold on an extremely bad approach and should have gone around instead of risking the lives of his passengers. He only just got away with it.

The CH-47 in the ditch was in Saudi Arabia, during Operation Desert Storm, 1991. I was there and saw this.

@superbetty84 That is a 747 landing at Kai Tak airport in Hong Kong. Not a skilled pilot but a douche bag who tried to salvage a bad approach. He should have gone around and tried again, instead of risking the lives of all the people on that airplane that trusted him!
