Is it necessary to take the fish out? And um... in what water do I put the water cleaning solution chemical thing? In the water I'm putting in or the water the fish are already in?

If you have never kept fish or have just bought one recently and you haven't already done so; I would really recommend joining an aquarium fish forum to ask questions and learn more about requirements of fish owning. (it's harder than it looks)

@bobcheese427 I thought it was a pretty vague explanation on how to clean a tank. Newbies watching this video could get all sorts of things wrong. Like I did. It's the fish who suffer.

@Bettawonder Probably a because you stuck it in either a contaminated vase, or you didn't condition your tap water or cycle your tank, maybe it was too cold and your fish died of shock. Or maybe your sick was sick before you brought it home. It's hard to say if you don't give more information on your water specs and stuff.
