When a band named after the process by which cells die releases a song called "A Farewell to the Sun", you know it's not going to be a gay old time. What it is is a stark, austere and reflective masterpiece...not unlike Ennio Morricone's spartan (yet entirely effective) score to John Carpenter's "The Thing" (as rightly noticed by Purplecatsoup). Creates a sombre mood, ideal for reading anything related to human tragedy or atrocity...
