Years ago I made up this little video showing what it was like to be a Twin Otter co-pilot in Alaska. I thought I'd dust it off and put it up here. From the 1300 foot strip in Eek to the frozen ice flows 200 miles north of Alaska, you'll see why we were having so much fun.

  • @navymmw Yeah, "Flying Wild Alaska" features Era Alaska (the new name for a combined operation of Era, Frontier and Hagland's.) Watch the episode that talk about flying out of Bethel. That's where of what these scenes are from.

  • @fly4fun Just looked it up.. That specific plane crashed in 1992.

  • The music is so right. Wish I had that on my walkman when I did a Reeve Electra and ERA 580 trips in Aug 99. Ahh so nice!
