About a year ago, I would have thought the same thing. I wouldn't have been enough of an ass to post it, but I would have thought it. However, the fact is that even though The Monkees started of as just a TV show, they became a real band over time. All four Monkees are playing on this song, and Peter Tork even came up with the arrangement. They may have started off as manufactured, to that we all agree, but it really doesn't matter. What matters is the music, so just listen to the band.

Its sad people only talk about the Beatles. I do like the Beatles but this is so catchy that its constantly playing in my head. RIP Davy you will be missed.

Not sure why some people are upset with me. The Monkees were manufactured stars. Look it up on wikipedia. There's nothing genuine here, they're predecessor to Milli Vanilli. Don't get me wrong, it's a good song. Just know that it was very calculated and not organic.
