I recently saw a documentary about 60's music and after all these other early 60's bands played (including the Beatles), the Rolling Stones came on, and everyone else just sounded so completely wimpy by comparison. Not to say that the Beatles weren't any good, but the Stones were (at the time) very bad-ass.
