Actually, a 24 inch scaled guitar does not mean that the half way mark is at the 12th fret. It simply means that it is exactly 24 inches from the nut to the saddle. Measure your 25.5 in scaled guitar and usually the 12th fret will be around 12 inches.
Hello was wondering about your Larrivee Parlor guitar. They say it is a 24” scale neck and that would mean that the length of the neck from the nut to the twelfth fret would be only 12 inches. When you measure your guitar with a ruler is the playable area between the nut and the 12th fret only 12 inches in length?
I almost picked up one in rosewood, but some uncaring dork had zipper scratches all over the one in my local store, so I went for my Quilted Mahogany P-10.
