So do you repeat the same steps as you did for the front half to the back half?

I LOVE THIS VIDEO AND ALL OF THE OTHER ONES YOU HAVE POSTED AND I THANK YOU SO MUCH BECAUSE I CAN NOT AFFORD TO PAY ANY SCHOOLS AND I TRIED GOING TO CATHERINE GIBBS AND I COULDN'T AFFORD IT AND I WENT TO THE ART INSTITUTE AND THEY ARE GOOD BUT NOT AS GOOD AS U ARE IN SHOWING IT AND MAKING A LEARN FROM HOME EXPERIENCE THE BEST. THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN AND LET ME TELL YOU THAT YOU ARE THE BEST. I HAVE MADE THE UPPER TORSO FOR A SHIRT I WANTED TO MAKE AND I WAS ABLE TO MAKE IT WITH NO PROBLEMS.

Your videos have been so very helpful! I am 40 and have suffered through bad fitting clothes my whole life. My hips are a 41 and waist 27! I am going to try to make my own clothes. Thanks for your great information on pattern making!! You are just wonderful!

I use the same initial pattern for front and back. The shaping comes as you add the darts and adjust the side seam. Fitting fabric on the person is the best way to do this. In my online class I show this process in detailed videos.
