There are common murderers more famous than this man. He was this wonderful example of humanity that was apparent in both his genius and his frailty.

Is it our instincts or our stupidity that what makes us remember and respect more our tormentors than our saviors?

Oppressed, emasculated and lynched by the same society he fought to save.. now this is pure essence of greek tragedy and, considering the possibilities lost, one of monumental proportions.
