I got to see Giora Schmidt perform this live in Halifax 2 nights ago!
It was amazing.. 3 standing ovations and an encore of Bach's Andante in A minor.

Agree with jtrstrings. Absolutely gorgeous and played with passion and total commitment. The body language says it all.

Frankly, it was brilliant. Gorgeous sound, great technique. A few missed notes do not ruin this genuine performance when listening to an artist of this caliber. Overall, one of my favorite interpretations of the piece.
