i'm tried to fix my 82 kz440 and I'm running pod filters and its running like crap now what did you have to do? Everything i've read says you can't run this bike with out the stock air box. Everyone keeps telling me to go to a single carb set up, but it looks like you have managed to do.

Thats a great question. I only ever got it up to 75 mph before I sold it.

I went to a website that gave some advise on how many sizes to go up on the jets. I think it was 4 sizes per. I was able to buy all except the 'slow' jet. For that one I purchased the size that I needed (even though it wouldnt fit) and then I bought a drill bit to fit into the new jet size. I then hand drilled the stock jet out. I was able to dial the carb in after that. Ran great!
