The complete removal, cataloging, land reparation and consolidation of a over 400,000 pound house in Helena Montana. The way restoration should be practiced if moving is not an option and demolition can be stalled. What you can not reuse yourself someone else will. Only 14 tons of this house was not salvaged. Roofing, plaster, mortar and lost brick were casualties but over 80 percent saved, cataloged documented and stored in the conservation phase of this project. The building is projected to be rebuilt to its 1894 standards at the former State Nursery grounds in 2011.

23,500 whole cleaned stacked semi-vitreous brick
80 ton cleaned stacked granite
40 ton cleaned flag stone
20 ton cleaned de-nailed lumber
5000 pounds of tile and flooring
2000 pounds of hardwoods
2000 pounds fixtures
20 doors, 25 windows, mouldings, trim, hardware, much much more.

Great Video! I really like the slide show style of the phases of deconstruction. On a side note, is that the Decembrists playing for the soundtrack? Remember when Colin was in Happy Cactus?
