On Nov. 10, 2011, several Missouri state senators held a hearing in St. Louis asking the public for their opinion about the wisdom of accepting federal money to create a health care exchange in this state. (If we don't design one we like, the feds will do it for us eventually.) All but one on the panel were Republicans, but--having taken lots of flack for not allowing those in favor of exchanges to testify in Springfield and Kansas City--they gave proponents plenty of chance to be heard. The video presents speakers on both sides on the question--though the videographer makes her opinion plain.
