    I love how this girl is obviously so, SO HARDCOAR GOTH in spirit but wears a pink cartoon whale shirt and started out with a story about a town where everything was rainbow-colored. This is how you know she keeps it real and is totally not a poseur, and anyone who calls her a poseur when she starts wearing black and reading vampire novels can watch this video and know how utterly wrong they are, because she was goth when she was *like five years old* ... and that's serious, right there.

    Here we can observe how someone's emotional association with an event (positive) can overwrite her recollection of her contemporary reaction to the particular (negative) which left the strongest impression. When recalling the event she remembers the most impactful detail yet overwrites her original interpretation of that detail with her interpretation of the whole.
