Part 5: Reverend Sermon
Part 6: Vows

Wendy and I would like to thank a few people in this space.

Thank you to all who attended our wedding. It would not have been the same without the people that matter to us most. We felt the love in that room from all of our guests and each and every one of you have touched and shaped our lives in ways we cannot even describe. Thank you.

Thank you especially to both of our families. Your support for both of us and your acceptance of us as individuals and as a couple give us strength every day. Both Wendy and I have said that the best part of getting married is now we have two families instead of one. Thank you for all your love and support.

Thank you to Papa Chan and Pops Werner for making speeches that brought great meaning to our special day. We will never forget the lessons you have instilled in us. Thank you for taking the time to giving us your advice and thoughts and making our day even more special.

Thank you to Mama Chan and Moms Werner for making our fathers better people. In each of the speeches, we could hear how much that our fathers love you and we can only hope to strive to make our marriage as successful as both of yours. Thank you to all four of our parents for all the outpouring of love. We feel it every day.

Thank you to all of our bridesmaids (Joyce, Melissa, Janice, Chika, Sophie) and groomsmen (Justin, Brother Mike, Camden, Mike M., Keith) for standing tall next to us during our ceremony. There is a reason why each we wanted each of you to stand next to us on our day. You are lifelong friends and have made, and will continue to make, tremendous impacts in our lives.

Thank you to our siblings (Ryan, Mike, Kristin, Matt, Joe). As we have grown older, we appreciate all of you more and more as people that we will grow old with (and as people who will watch our future babies). We are proud to say that our relationships with all of you have grown from sibling abuse (see all of our home videos growing up) into true friendships.

Thank you to Liz Schwarz for videotaping this ceremony and several other portions of our wedding. We would not have any video record of the day if you didn't selflessly volunteer yourself to help us along the way. This video will live with us forever and we could never thank you enough.

Thank you to our Reverend David Soo. What initially started off as a joke of you being our Reverend for our wedding turned into a scary reality soon after. There were whispers all around us of shock and trepidation of how you would handle our wedding but our confidence in you never wavered. The thing that we were shocked about, however, is how fantastic you made our wedding. Your personalization of the ceremony made it ours and we couldn't be happier or more thankful that our friend took the time to become a Reverend and give the dedication to put forth a kind and thoughtful ceremony better than we could ever imagine. We would like you to thank you a million times and (I may regret saying this later) we will always be in your debt for making our day so perfect (We would also like to thank Moria Cappio for helping Dave Soo with the ideas for the ceremony).

And finally, thank you to my wife Wendy. I'm so grateful that an intelligent and beautiful girl like you would want to spend the rest of her life with a "little twerp with a head too big for his body" (see Best Man speech) bum like me. It was the greatest day of my life.

To those who were not able to make it to our event, I hope that this video gives you a small glimpse into what our day was like. The tears that we both shed were tears of joy (they were for me at least.....). The smiles were real (as Wendy and I really do like each other). And the laughter we shared made us glow the entire day (we don't take ourselves too seriously but what I do know is that we are seriously in love). Thank you for watching our videos.
