Here in the UK I have not come across the skyrocket. Judging by the pictures the design is different so it won't be compatible with the Galaxy SII Power Pack.

Hi, in my experience it charges better when you charge the phone and Power Pack separately. I generally use a spare Blackberry charger for the phone and the Galaxy's original charger for the Power Pack. Have you bought one from one of my stores or are you thinking of getting one?

@Filipinoman56 Thanks I am glad you like it. You can buy it from my eBay store. You will also soon be able to get it from my main web store but there are a few tweaks that still need to be done to enable international customers.

Not sue if I will get this or the mugen 3200 love my gallaxy 2 but battery does leave it down

@THEDUCKHUNTER1976 From what I understand, with the Mugen you have to remove the original battery and back panel. With the Samsung Power Pack I like the fact that the battery is built into the case so there are less bits to fiddle around with. You just clip it on and you are done.

I've read that there is an annoyance..
There's no switch that can prevent external battery from charging internal one.
Because of that, once internal battery (the first to recharge) is full, the external one (still under charge) keeps on charging the internal one, causing multiple "battery full" beeps.
Unfortunately, those alerts can't be disabled without rooting the phone.. and that's painful if you charge the phone overnight..
Could you confirm or deny this problem? Thank you!

@MalhavocBlackdrake ......perhaps because the manual says the first charge of the power pack should be without the phone connected to it, I always charge both units separately. Not convenient unless like myself you have two wall chargers. Having said that I strongly suspect that charging both devices separately is better in terms of efficiency and reliability.
As a result I no longer have to worry about constant beeping except when the phone is fully charged. I hope this helps.
