@dpate23 You are spot on with this great comment. Ever since the IRL got it's claws on the event, it just does not seem the same. The old champ cars were far superior in look and sound. I once thought the IRL cars sounded like a constipated bumble bee. It would be good to see the F1 drivers trying to qualify. I'm sure that many would if given the opportunity. Perhaps the F1 organisers need to look at their schedule, and not over crowd the month of May.

I cry every time I watch one of these intros..This race was once the greatest event in the world as far as racing goes..F1 drivers flocked to Indy just to race in this one race..now, Indy is just seen as a stepping stone to NASCAR or F1. Thanks Tony.
