Notes:
Mark Willis asks how did the review of your eBOARD site by the EBS team help you change or streamline processes within your district?
Joslyn Fields of Richmond County explains how they now have the eBOARD site more interlinked into the district website making it easier for the public to find information.
Dr. Creel contributes that prior to the review they were not utilizing the Meetings module for other types of meetings and now use for all meetings including executive cabinet meetings, school council meetings and advisory meeting. Additionally they are looking at how to use the Evaluation Module to manage the Superintendent Evaluation and link the supporting evidence to the indicators in evaluation instrument. Also are looking at how to use the Evaluation Module for managing district accreditation.
Dr. Miller agrees and adds how the meetings module recently helped pull together all of the documents needed for a leadership team meeting allowing them to more quickly access information needed and move through the agenda. How the Meetings Module serves as a clearinghouse of information of past meetings and makes them more efficient. There HAS been some resistance to change but "you have to model it." They should be ready for next year when it is a requirement of all of the charter schools.
