MKIII MK3 Toyota Supra Non Turbo 45-90 3rd Gear Acceleration Pull

1986.5 mkIII Supra, 241k miles. =P actually was only running on 5 cylinders, as I found out last night... while I was pulling the head for a new HG... Runs good though. haha. Old, but a great car for the price. I'll get more videos when I finish up the rebuild and top end. 45-90, punched it around 45? third gear. I think my gears are taller than normal though? Supra Guys help me out. this is kinda a comparison before light up grades... First to come is suspension and MKiV wheels, hopefully chromed. then I'm going turbo. =P

how do you know if your car is only running on 5 cylinders?

@supracrew87 mine in particular, because I pulled the head and did some work on it, and one of the valves had a chunk missing. Like a good half of an eraser out the rim. I have no idea how, just that it did. And therefore had no static compression on #3.

6200 rpm in 3rd (1.3:1) with the 4.30:1 rear end and stock size tires is just over 80 mph.

@nickma71 you mean.. 90. and speedo isn't off because I did pulls from a roll all the time with buddys and it was within 2 mph.

@Mr450 I thought it was pretty good. I mean my shocks were absolutely wrecked, and I could chuck it around with my friends rx8 and hold on decent. little scary at times haha. but good for age size etc. very good on dirt roads =P

@accordv6er YES VERY TRUE ABOUT THE SHOCKS,SCARY TOO. LOL. THE OTHER DAY MY CAR DID A FISH TAIL I WAS SO SCARED, AND WAS CUZ THE SHOCKS.

@accordv6er Nope, do the math. Fuel cut in 3rd is about 87 mph. This isnt debatable. Sorry, I am just providing information, not picking a fight.
