Sorry this is a bit early! I wanted to wish all of my friends out there in cyberland, who have been such a support to me over this very difficult year, a Happy Christmas - I thought I had better do it while am feeling up to it!

I appologise in advance for my singing and guitar playing, both are a bit ropey as I don't do either much these days!

I wrote this song back in 1981. It is my retelling of the nativity story. I hope you enjoy it even if you do not share my faith. Here are the words to the song for those of you who are interested. A Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all.

Come see the New King who's born on this day,
Born in a stable, in a manger he's laid,
Come see the king who will save the world,
Jesus Christ is his name,
Jesus Christ is his name.

Some wise men from the east did come
They followed a bright new star,
Until the star cam to rest
Where Jesus had been born

Come see the New King who's born on this day,
Born in a stable, in a manger he's laid,
Come see the king who will save the world,
Jesus Christ is his name,
Jesus Christ is his name

While shephards watched their flocks that night,
Some angels did appear,
Praising God with joyful shouts,
Proclaiming the Christ is here,

Come see the New King who's born on this day,
Born in a stable, in a manger he's laid,
Come see the king who will save the world,
Jesus Christ is his name,
Jesus Christ is his name

And to the stable they did come,
To worship and adore
The little child Jesus Christ,
Their King for evermore.

Come see the New King who's born on this day,
Born in a stable, in a manger he's laid,
Come see the king who will save the world,
Jesus Christ is his name,
Jesus Christ is his name

  • I had three days when my walking and speech came back to normal. My involuntary movements also lessened. I was still get numbeness in my feet and muscle twitches in my legs and arms. My walking has deteriorated again, as has my speech, much like other times this has happened. My involuntary movements are not too bad at the moment. So this has happened 4 times before when I wasn't on meds, I am not sure what is happening. But I did enjoy those few says.
