@Auraruth8 The government did not caused 9/11, for most of the government is obtuse enough to accept and believe its own story. The orchestrators of that event were managed by 'those' that puppeteer the government. I agree with you in that it does not matter who did it because this experience (human life) is just a momentary lapse of reason (a spark, if you will) in a "segment" of Infinity. That's right, The Universe does not "care" who pulled the trigger. ☼

@racingracing Come on he is not defending anybody, least of all the government wich he critizises regularly, in fact what differnce does it make, he is critical of all US wars(that is worse than 9/11) and domestic policy ALL THE TIME. 9/11 is not gonna change that and it never has changed his mind on his principles. Ok so what if the govenrment caused 9/11(personally i do not belive so) what then, well you go out and protest and act, exactly what Chomsky is advocating ALL THE TIME!

@Sllvlloov You might be right. Who knows. I think it is fairly typical that people do not change their minds in the throws of discussion but on reflection at some later date. The chap may have seen this film or the full lecture since and perhaps taken on board some of Chomsky's points.
