till you dive it don't talk about it. I bought my Vin #000327 2009 Tiguan about a month ago now and it is the best vehicle by far i have ever owned even at 120 on the freeway it is quite in the cabin. The Tiguan beats the doors off of any compact SUV on the market. Hands down. Go test drive it then you will understand.

I own a 2011 tiguan, it is really great SUV ! Quiet interior with few complaints but I would not drive this vehicle on any real serious off-road it just simply isn't designed for it, it doesn't have a skid plate, doesn't have solid axle or exceptionally high clearance. But what it is designed for pothole ridden streets and highways of the United States. Fairly smooth dry dirt road sure every once in a while. I hope they offer diesel by 2016.

I lub my Tiguan. I've owned so many different vehicles it's silly, and this is by far my favourite. I have the manual 6-sp w/APR Flash and BlackForest Torque Arm Insert. All I want now is some stock A3 springs for it. BEST vehicle ever.

Very small, low power engine. Took one on a test drive 2 days ago, and it's the Wolfsburg edition. Comes at $34,000 which is a decent price, considering the $1900 entertainment-nav system with HD audio, and the "leatherette" seats (synthetic leather, but feels and looks great). So anyways, it takes a while for this car to accelerate 0-60. Even though it is a 4Motion car, it's not very powerful. In fact, I feel much more comfortable staying with my 07' Touareg V8 than switching over to a 2.0L car

@shininio agree here...the final tiguan is a little ugly:S i rather buy an old touareg :S ..i like the blue concept
