how does the EXO1000 comepare to the AGV K3 helmet? i really like the EXO1000 but i heard its a little heavy. which helmet would you recommend?

I really liked this helmet but it didn't take long for the plastic liner to fall apart.

@r3mark4ble We have seen very few quality issues with this helmet in relaion to the number we have sold. Please let us know if you need any assistance having this warranted by Scorpion. Happy to help

After less than a week with this helmet, the plastic cover on the chin vent broke. After less than a month, the helmet started falling apart in the back seams. And I take very good care of my gear. Basically, the design is nice - the pumps work well, and the helmet is comfortable. However, the construction quality is much worse than one would expect from such an expensive helmet.

@motrpt Overall our experience with this model has been pretty solid. We have seen a few problems (small number relative to the amount we have sold) but would say this experience is not the norm. Should be covered by Scorpion Warranty. If you need any help let us know
