Who is this Charu Lata. May be she has been reading too many text books on Sri Lanka she has confused with reality. India is silent because Indian government want an end to LTTE as much as SL government. India has not forgiven LTTE for killing their prime minister Rajive Ghandhi. How the hell did we end up with this many Tamils. Many of these probably come from South India illegally. What they called Kalathonis.

The analyst here [the woman] is so very wrong, because the voters at the next provincial council elections will prove which side the Tamil people [who really matter], support. The Tamil parties or the PEOPLES ALLAINCE Government of Sri Lanka. Thereafter we can see if she is right if terrorism survives or not. I think, Not! The Tamil diasporas who remain as political refugees in western nations, must not be granted visas to return to Sri Lanka, under the prevention of terrorism act.

I was in colombo when Black July happened and that was no where near the humen tragedy unfolding today.
LTTE was the answer from Tamils for the Black July but now they have to think again.
Both Black July and LTTE tarnished the history of our country but it is time to move forward with reconsilliation and learn to live together and respect each other as equal citizens and partners of this beautiful country.
We all feel for the Tamils now since we all are Sri Lankans!!
