The hardest working man in Key West innovated on so many levels, it's almost embarrassing. Ever hear an entertainer do a vocal "explosion" on the mic to emphasize a passage? Well, now ya know where they got it. And if you don't think other "bigger" entertainers hang out in Key West, then leave town full of ideas they basically just steal, you'd be sadly mistaken. When Avery is told someone steals this or that from his show, his reply is simply, "I have so much ammunition, that they can steal all they want...I'm always 3 steps ahead. I have shit they ain't even seen yet up my sleeve!". 'Nuf said.
