These are in my opinion the greatest Commanders and Strategists in History.
Of course some of them are brutal murderer but if you think in a military way they did the right thing.
I love History specially the History of Mesopotamia or Greece.

Can't really compare USA to USSR but I do however see a resemblance to Rome though. I get what you mean by the economic things, the world is too tied together in a global economy to go to war these days. Well, major countries that is.

That being said there will never be a war between the USA and China, because the USA is China's biggest traiding partner and without traid from the USA China will go into a Great Depression and the people will riot, because they will have no jobs.

Doesn't matter, look at Vietnam. 300 Million people won't join the military. It'll take a while to tap those oil. China can invade as a amphibious landing while U.S can't.

Not for long, wait until 2016 and China will take over as military and conomic power. If America fought Britain, France AND Germany, America would lose, our military would be too good, because Britain, France and Germany all have better militaries than America.

@mwillis1000 The USA has not only the most powerfull millitary in the world (unless Obama gets his way) the USA has over 300 million people and the largest economy in the world. Also in just three states, Utah, Wyoming, and Colorado there is over 1.6 TRILLION barrels of oil that have yet to be tapped.

The USA has much more to offer the UK than ALL of Europe does let alone France and Germany.

Germany is only a economic power is no longer a military power

Russia hate NATO so us, and Germany don't care of Uk and France they look to Austria lol

Uk and France we are the dominant nuclear power of Europe military Uk first then France we are almost similar

True, if Britain, France and Germany all ally and work together, we can beat anybody! I think that Britain should look less to America and more to France, Germany, Russia and Ireland (Because im Irish XD).

When Britain/England and France fought together, we have almost always won.
