Greensleeves - fingerpicking a Martin HD28

Greensleeves - Martin HD28 guitar - Fingerpicking

This is a test of my $50 Creative webcam and free unregistered Hypercam software to see how well it performs recording vids for You Tube. I am using a new Plantronics PC mic(~$15). I think there is some distortion in the sound recording and I hear a volume fluctuation occasionally. Hmmmm. Curious! Anyway, the viewer will get the gist of the tune.

Afterposting thought: Sound quality definitely NOT acceptable. What could possibly cause the volume fluctuations? Curiouser and curiouser.

I have no audio advice at all, but I feel qualified to tell you that your playing is AWESOME, and I love Greensleeves, and I love that guitar. Please teach me to play like that!

@everysinglenamesgone . :) Thanks. I also love this guitar. I am using a simple fingerpicking pattern of alternating the thumb with the index and middle fingers. (T M T I T M T I) You have to skip some index and middle finger picks and fret for the right note, but the basic pattern carries you through. Larry

Donna, The sound quality is terrible using the method I used to record. I will think about repeating wih a better recording fidelity. I know what strings are on my guitar now, but that recording was made a year ago, so can't tell you fo sure.....but I think they were Elixirs. I jump around on strings. Thanks, Larry
