Gift Rapt: Art and Poetry of John G. Young, M.D.

In this one man holiday show at Macky Auditorium Gallery at the University of Colorado, I look at the gift of NOW. The program was inspired by some sements of my recently released video, "Word Salad: Creaivity and Madness with Fox, Deer, Ducks and Chickens." The poems set the stage for this conceptual show. Some are serious, others comic; some rap and some rapture. The multi-media art works, like the poems, are multi-layered suggesting multiple meanings. In this my creative Now, I am exploring text, texture, lift-offs, collage and graphics, and gift-wrapping it to you.
