***Update****
Thanks to Musicfreaz- I forgot to mention that you need to restart your phone after you delete the MyToneDB.db so that it will realize you deleted it and make a new one.


How to add custom ringtones or songs to your RAZR. Might work with other things besides ringtones.

  • Just use a USB cord from something else. It just has to be Mini-USB on the one end.

  • Civelwarman, yes you can; you just need to shorten it with Audacity or some other audio editing sotware.

  • Sassyreem, you need to start the program after you install it.

    EDK717, you probably need a new MINIUsb cable.

  • I started following every instruction here but i ran into a few snags, !.my phone didnt have any updates, 2.Everytime i load p2kcommander when i change the 2md drop down menu to "p2k phone system, it locks up and dont respond.

    Please help!

  • Great video. Works fine on my new alltel motorola v3a

    btw, I recommend uploading tones via bluetooth then using usb to delete the db file. I was getting write errors when trying upload mp3s via usb

  • Dude... I selected P2K Mobile phone from the dropdown but it automatically changes to D:/ without me doing anything wrong!

  • at 1:24 its actually not "motorola" its "mobile" and to extract the files part for the p2k wasnt clearly shown how to do but i figured it out , thanks soo much dude, im not completely done but will ask if i get stuck so far its going great

  • where is the p2k phone system? in the p2k commander...it opened automatically to the folder that it was in...please help!!!
