he's still around, but denmark missed major tournaments so he doesn't get the limelight. that's why i agree with fifa (but for different reasons as i hate that mafia), that euro 2012 should be expanded to at least 20 teams. because nations such as denmark, ukraine, as well as ireland, scotland, and/or england should be able to make the tournament. the world cup should also be expanded to 40 or 48 teams, and qualifying system should be re-hauled.

i think there was a total of 2 saudi fans in the stands..i wasn't there but on the tv they showed 1 fat wealthy saudi man and his wife (wrapped head to toe) walking down the stairs to their seats. except all the rest of the seats were deserted. it was pathetic

wc 2002 had notorious problems with ticketing.. 1/2 the stadiums were empty, but that one topped it off

Is this a joke? The American did WAAAAY better than the british commentator. And for of those that don't know American commentating (those insulting Americans) On national TV, American sports commentators aren't aloud to show too much excitement because it found favor one side over the other and commentators on TV have to take a neutral stand on the game.

i thought this american commentator did ok. id much rather hear an enthusiastic commentator who gets pumped than one who lulls you to sleep with the same monotonous voice. there should be some excitement, after all it is a great sport. but, if you want to keep taking your cheap shots at us Americans go ahead. i see no reason to hate us over being inferior at a sport though.
