> But tastes change.
I know that it does for many people. I find it really odd, because my taste never changes - it only expands. I still like absolutely EVERYTHING I ever liked, I'm just adding more and more things to my list over the time.

Yeah, good art doesn't age. But tastes change. Most of the stuff I listened to when MC's were still all the rage now makes me cringe. LoL

A simple land line will work here, too. Which is awesome. However, the cordless phone needs a power source. )=

Same here! Therefore I also published my first book, which originally was only a web-based one, after a lot of work (formatting, layouting, drawing new illustrations) as a real book. ("The Railing of the Mountain Path. Constructive Utopism" - should be available from Amazon, and if not, always from the on-demand publisher Lulu.)

Well, 90% of my tapes are personal favs compilations from CDs that I made myself. And 10% are tapes from back when, which I still like to listen to. In fact, also most of my CDs are several years old. But good art doesn't age.

Klaro. Ich habe gehört in GB sei es sogar legal mit den Dingern am Steuer zu telefonieren.
Ist alles ein großer Kreislauf. LoL

I dunno, with some kids nowadays corporal punishment in school doesn't seem like such a bad idea, heh.
Anyway, I'd totally forgotten about phone numbers starting with words. And I've never heard of Sputnik bubble gum.
Thank you so much for sharing!
how many women a day tell you that you're handsome? or, for that matter, ask for your hand in marriage?!
i'll do the former. also, i do find your videos interesting, so this comment is not completely superficial and nugatory.

I would have taken your comment at face value anyway. I always do if a comment inflates my sizeable ego. (c;
As for marriage proposals, it has happened. It was just in a dream, but it did happen. And from Cate Blanchett, too. Not a bad catch for a dream, eh? (I guess we've established which of us is the superficial one, heh.)

Geez, I can remember having a TV without a remote control. I think people would freak out without those nowadays.
One of the technological advices that I'm not ready for is reading everything online or on a PDA. I certainly hope that publishing houses will stay in business and keep publishing good books!

Ditto that, dovey! I am a total fan of real, old school, paper books. But I am always open for new ideas. I hear the Amazon kindle is a huge success in the USA, but it's not available here yet. Have you ever tried it?
