The Duchess is a 2008 Academy Award Winning British drama film based on Amanda Foreman's best-selling biography of the 18th-century English aristocrat Georgiana Cavendish, Duchess of Devonshire. It was released in September 2008 in the UK. The Duchess was directed by Saul Dibb.
