HDE-Logistik GmbH, a company that emerged from the three traditional Bamberg forwarding agencies Herbst, Dümler and Elflein, has selected Intralogistics specialist viastore as general contractor for building its five-aisle automated mini-load system (MLS).

The new MLS with a floor space of 9,000 square meters (about 10,769 sq yd) is being built in Bamberg Harbor and will offer 60,000 container storage locations. The scope of delivery includes, among other things, five viaspeed storage/retrieval machines, the viad@tWMS warehouse management system, the viad@tMFC material flow control and the viad@tVISU conveyor system including visualization.
