THE PLOT:
Tzipporah has come across the trio in the forest, and Garrett attacks her at first, knocking her into the river. John stops him, and apologizes to her. Tzipporah says she has something to tell John, but suddenly, Eris appears, and is furious.
The next part isn't shown, but it is in Tao's video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UcxPsEXusJg ), Eris doesn't want Tzi to tell John about their deal, but Tzi reminds her that keeping it a secret wasn't part of the agreement. Bitterly, Eris mentions the other secret Tzi has been keeping from John as she disappears: the Colonel's abuse of her. Of course, Garrett and Amalthea are a bit insensitive when discussing the matter, and John is outraged. Tzi is annoyed that they're talking about her like she isn't there, and blurts out that despite what happened, she's fallen in love with John.
Now feeling a little ashamed, Tzi retreats from the group a bit when John approaches her and asks her to come with him. He takes her aside behind some trees, and Amalthea and Garrett manage to give them some privacy. John is in shock, and has a few choice words for the Colonel. He swears he'll kill the man one day, and promises Tzipporah he'll never let him hurt her again. He professes his love to her, and they kiss.
Meanwhile, Sasha has been traveling with Meg's hummingbird friend Flit looking for John, and they come across the couple. John hears Sasha, and is elated to see her. Garrett, on the other hand, is frustrated that they keep being found, and talks to her like he would any other dog. This annoys Amalthea, as a fellow animal, and she tells him to stop patronizing her. Sasha is actually surprised she understands her, saying she's quite used to being spoken to that way, and asks if she's like John. Amalthea replies by showing Sasha her true form, and Sasha is astonished to see a unicorn, pulling out all the manners. Amalthea has lost some of her identity by now, though, especially after healing Garrett, and has a more casual attitude. She introduces Garrett and Tzipporah to Sasha. Not shown, but Sasha tells them about Megara and that she knows where to find her.
Elsewhere, Gabrielle has been transformed into a doppelganger of Megara by Lady Tremaine, who intends to use the woman as a trap to lure our trio and other gifted individuals back into captivity. ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymkV3PLNWS4 )
Some time has passed, during which John and Tzi got married. The group is camped out in the forest near a waterfall, and everyone is sleeping except for Tzi, who is bathing, and John, who is being overprotective of his wife. Garrett wakes up at the sound of someone approaching, which John managed not to hear because he was lost in thought. Amalthea instinctively hides in the bushes, since she is in her unicorn form at the moment. The stranger introduces herself as Megara, and Sasha immediately thinks something's not right. Flit is overjoyed to see Meg again, but Sasha's suspicions are only furthered by "Megara"'s reaction to the bird's affection. Gabrielle is just winging it, and doesn't really know anything about what Meg acts like or who she's met, so she plays along uncertainly when John mentions that she already knows Flit. Trying to seem more genuine and gain sympathy, she shares a bit about her own past, namely Miguel.
At this point, Sasha is certain that this isn't the real Megara, and she lets John know loud and clear. Garrett and Sasha, I imagine, wouldn't get along so well, but this time Garrett agrees with her. I don't know if Isa wanted Garrett's senses to be quite this heightened, but I added that he could tell from vibrations in the ground that "Megara" was lying. Anyway, Gabrielle wasn't expecting to be called out, and doesn't know what else to say, so she caves and tells the truth. Xena, watching from a distance, is saddened that she might have to betray her friend now that she's sided with the gifted, and leaves. John apologizes for what is about to happen, and turns to Garrett, who already knew what he had to do. He tells everyone to stand back and wipes the last 24 hours of Gabrielle's memory. For some reason, upon doing this, Lady Tremaine's spell wears off, and Gabrielle's true form is revealed as she faints. Tzipporah, Sasha, and Flit have never seen Garrett use his powers, so they're a bit shocked, but Garrett reassures them that she'll be all right.
Leaving Gabrielle behind so they can escape, they move on to continue their journey. They wander around a while to make sure they lose the hunters, but after they're satisfied no one will come after them, Sasha and Flit lead them to Giselle's cottage where they knew Megara was staying. However, when they get there, the cottage is empty, and there's nothing to tell them where they've gone. Video ends with John looking confused as he enters, not knowing what to do next. What Sasha doesn't know is that Giselle has been captured by Tiana, and Megara has gone off to look for her.
